Construction on the SMCCCD Districtwide Student Housing at CSM project is underway and the project will enter a one-week construction phase to install domestic and fire waterlines. This work focuses on the point of connection for the new water lines and will necessitate the closure of CSM Drive to all vehicular traffic from the 4-way stop at Perimeter Road to the traffic circle located in front of the College of San Mateo Athletic Center.  During this period, the south entrance to Parking Lot A will be closed and specific stalls within the lot will be blocked off to create a necessary vehicle turn-around area.  While Parking Lot B remains entirely closed for ongoing construction activities, pedestrian access via sidewalks along CSM Drive and in front of the Theatre Building 3 will remain open.  A minor detour for SamTrans buses will be in effect and the area will be strictly regulated with “Road Closed” signage, “No Entry” markers, and physical barricades.
