CSM Student Housing Project Upcoming Campus Impacts (June 29-31, August 1-14)
From Monday, June 29, through Friday, July 31, 2026, electrical trenching and vault installation will take place in Parking Lot C. From Saturday, August 1, through Friday, August 14, 2026, College Heights Road will be closed to vehicular traffic in both directions. Please use caution when traveling near these work areas. CSM Drive Roadway Closure (May 5 – May 11)
Construction on the SMCCCD Districtwide Student Housing at CSM project is underway and the project will enter a one-week construction phase to install domestic and fire waterlines. CSM Drive will be closed to all vehicular traffic from the 4-way stop at Perimeter Road to the traffic circle located in front of the CSM Athletic Center. Read more

Student Parking Lot B Closure (April 2026 – Spring 2028)
Construction on the SMCCCD Districtwide Student Housing at CSM project has begun as of April 2026, and will continue through Spring 2028, with student move-in anticipated in Summer 2028. Student Parking Lot B will be closed throughout the construction process. Read more

B51 Baseball Modular Fire Alarm Testing
Fire alarm system testing will take place in connection with the new modular at the Baseball Field. The Fire Alarm system in Buildings 30, 30A, and the football press box will be temporarily offline for two consecutive days from 7 am to 3 pm. Maintenance on EV Charging Stations in Lot M (Monday, March 30)
The EV charging stations in Parking Lot M will be temporarily unavailable on Monday, March 30, while a service company performs scheduled maintenance. The charging stations will be cordoned off the night before and are expected to be back online by 10 am that morning, with access restored as soon as the work is complete. Read more

Cement Truck Deliveries (March 24–27)
From Tuesday, March 24, through Friday, March 27, cement deliveries are scheduled for the CSM Beach Volleyball project beginning at 8:30 am each day. No campus impacts are anticipated and cement trucks will remain within the project boundary except when arriving and departing. Read more

Parking Lot D Hauling Activity (March 6–20)
From Friday, March 6, through Friday, March 20, hauling trucks will rotate in and out of Parking Lot D between 6 am and 3 pm, and traffic delays are expected. Please drive slowly, use caution near the Lot D entrance and exit, and allow trucks to move through safely. Read more

Student Parking Lot D Closure (January 12 – May 19)
From Monday, January 12, through Tuesday, May 19, Student Parking Lot D will be closed to public parking as construction begins on the Beach Volleyball Courts project. For driving access to the tennis courts and athletics venues, use East Perimeter Road. Pedestrian access is available via Athletic Loop Road. Read more
